I have had a wonderful time exploring Flickr. Soo many cat pix. . . . .so little time! I have found a treasue trove of new ideas. I needed to make a poster for a Day of Reflection that I will be doing at my church. I found "mosaic maker" under Big Huge Labs. I was not able to make this work however it gave me an idea of what to do with a Word document. It turned out great!
I also will be assigning each of my classes a time period in church history. They will then have to create trading cards depicting important figures from that era. These will include bio data and other pertinent info. I think they will enjoy this.

Love the Trading Card idea! Let me know what online resource you will ask your students to use; we can test it out ahdead of time to see what kind of setup or account creation may be involved for them.
